Summary: the app never asks for your name, email, phone number, contacts or precise location. An anonymous account backs up your progress in the cloud. The username you choose is public, stored with your progress in a profile that others can read. The game shows rewarded ads (Google AdMob), only when you choose to watch one. Crash reports and usage statistics help us fix bugs and balance the game. You can delete your account and all your data at any time.

Data we process

On your device

Your progress (credits, buildings, planets, fleet, settings) is stored locally on your device. Scheduled game reminders (local notifications) are computed on the device.

Account and cloud backup (Google Firebase)

  • Anonymous identifier created by Firebase Authentication (no email or password).
  • Game save (the same content as the local save) stored on Cloud Firestore, so you can recover it after reinstalling or changing devices.
  • Public profile: your username, your progress (Crystals, number of planets terraformed, current planet) and the visual state of your planets. This profile is publicly readable and may be shown to other players, for example in a leaderboard.
  • Notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging) if you allow notifications, used to send you game reminders.

Ads (Google AdMob)

When you choose to watch a rewarded ad, Google AdMob may process your device's advertising ID, your IP address and technical information about your device, in order to show the ad, measure it and, if you agree, personalize it. In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, your consent is requested; you can change it in Settings → Consent options (ads). More information: policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

Statistics and crashes (Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, PostHog)

  • Crash reports: the technical state of the app when an error occurs (device model, system version, error trace).
  • Usage statistics: game events (tutorial completed, phase completed, planet completed, ad watched, app opened and sent to background), tied to a random installation identifier.

This data is only used to fix bugs and balance the game. We do not sell it or use it for advertising profiling.

Game settings and ratings

  • Firebase Remote Config downloads game balance settings. It only uses a technical installation identifier.
  • The game may offer to let you rate the app: the window is Google Play's own, and your rating is handled by Google, not by us.

Sharing

Data is hosted and processed by Google (Firebase) and PostHog (usage statistics, servers in the European Union) as processors. Google AdMob also processes some data on its own behalf, under the Google policies linked above. We never sell any data.

Security

Communication with Firebase is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS). The database security rules only allow your account to modify your private save. It can only be read by your account and by the publisher's administrator account, used solely for support and to fight cheating.

Account and data deletion

From the app

Settings → My account → "Delete my account and data". This immediately erases your local save, your cloud save, your public profile, your username and your anonymous account.

Without the app

If you have uninstalled the game, email blaia.inc.info@gmail.com with your username: all associated data is deleted within 30 days.

Retention

Your cloud save and profile are kept for as long as your account exists. Crash reports and statistics are kept for at most 14 months, then deleted automatically.

Children

Terraclicker is not specifically intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal data about them.

Changes

This policy may change as the app evolves. The date at the top of this page is updated with every change.
